| Best pools for lap swimming? |
[28 Dec 2009|08:00am] |
I'm training for a sprint triathlon this summer and want to get started with some lap swimming. Does anyone have any pool recommendations? Preferably one that doesn't require a monthly membership and is located on the North or East sides. Oh, and adults only (or at least no screaming children).
Thanks in advance for your help!

| Coyoty makes "old-fashioned" meatloaf. |

My ingredients:

I think the recipe came from an old Parade newspaper insert. It's for two people, but the smallest package of hamburger I could find was a pound, so I doubled it and divided it into four loaves for tonight the next three nights. It turned out very good, allowing for my substitutions. [My comments in brackets.]
Old-Fashioned Meatloaf For Two
This tiny meatloaf should not be overbaked! Once removed from the oven, it will keep cooking for a few minutes. The chili sauce is the American kind, not the Asian. [I think the Asian kind would make it better.]
8 ounces ground chuck 2 tablespoons grated onion [I was out, so I used onion powder.] 2 tablespoons chopped parsley 3 tablespoons chili sauce [I used the steak sauce pictured above.] 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce Salt and pepper, to taste
1. Preheat the oven to 350° F. Place the chuck, onion, parsley, 2 tablespoons of the chili sauce, the Worcestershire, salt and pepper in a bowl. Toss together lightly. 2. Form the meat into a 5-inch by 3-inch oval loaf in a small baking pan. Spread the remaining tablespoon of chili sauce all over the surface of the meatloaf. Bake for 30 minutes, or until cooked through. Do not overbake.

[28 Dec 2009|12:07pm] |
It's been pouring buckets this Christmas, but NORMALLY it's crazy hot in the summer in Australia and I just wanted to share a typical summer dinner / lunch / snack with you - steak with cherry tomato and bean salad.

| christmas eve = fish |
[27 Dec 2009|11:16am] |
the italians in my family celebrate every christmas eve with the feast of the seven fishes. it's a hardcore event, and over the years has morphed from 'seven fishes' to 'twelve seafoods'. we eat for hours and hours.
salsa made from rock shrimp - scallops wrapped in prosciutto - crab cakes
my pics are a little crappy as i was more focused on eating everything in sight. there's a lot of big eaters at this event and a lot of grabby fingers to fight for the Good Stuff.
( let's eat )

Lately when I've been getting high, my skin will start to tingle and crawl and go somewhat numb. It remains like this even when I'm not high anymore. It's starting to get really annoying and very uncomfortable. I'm not sure what I can do to make it stop. Has anything similar happened to anyone else before? Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
